Claim coverage

    • Q: If the student is covered by another medical plan, can he/she claim from Student Protection Plan? A:

      Yes, he/she can claim the balance amount not paid by his/her other medical plan, subject to the limits stated under the Student Protection Plan. In order to process the balance payout, he/she will need to submit the settlement letter from the other insurer to:

    • Q: Are transportation expenses claimable? A:

      Only ambulance fees are claimable up to the limits stated under the Student Protection Plan. Private transportation expenses (e.g. taxi fare) are not claimable.

Claim procedure & processing

    • Q: How do I submit a claim under Student Protection Plan? A:

      You have to complete and sign the claim form. Please submit the duly completed claim form together with the required documents to:

    • Q: How soon will the claim be settled? A:

      We will assess your claim within 14 working days upon receipt of the full documents. For claims which require further clarifications/documents or medical report, we will need more time and will keep you informed.
