5 W e are purposeful in making a positive social impact in the community we serve through our products, services and people. Last year, our efforts to provide the gig economy with adequate insurance coverage led us to develop the region’s first micro-insurance product, which offers stackable critical illness coverage to customers as they pay micro- premiums. This proposition caters to people who are not relying on fixed incomes and thus, would prefer flexible cash flows as they benefit from insurance protection. Today, we remain the only insurer in Singapore that caters insurance products to children and youths with Down syndrome and Autism. We continue to donate 1% of our insurance operating profits to champion education for youths-in-need. As a company, we also spend time volunteering with diverse charities at our annual “Income Gives Back” initiative.
