Terms of Offer
In this Terms of Offer the following terms shall have the meanings assigned to them below:
- “Income” means NTUC Income Insurance Co-operative Limited;
- “Fave” means Beeconomic Singapore Pte Ltd;
- “Carro” means Carro Leasing Pte Ltd;
- “SNACKUP Policies” means complimentary SNACK Product issued upon the purchase of good and services from any of the SNACKUP Brands/ SNACKUP participating merchants listed on the SNACK App in accordance to the terms and conditions as set out under the SNACK App;
- “Favepay” means an electronic payment service offered by Fave;
- “SNACK Product” means Income SNACK insurance products / services offered in the SNACK App
- “Visa” means Visa Worldwide Limited and/or any of its related companies;
- “SNACKUP Policies from Fave” means SNACKUP Policies issued by Income when the customer spend on the Fave online application or pay for goods and services using Favepay;
- “SNACK App” means the SNACK BY INCOME online application; and
- “Carro Subscription Plan” means a monthly car leasing subscription provided by Carro which comprises of the fixed base subscription fee, variable subscription fee based on the car's mileage up to 1200km per month and the road tax amount for the car, subject to Carro's Terms and Conditions.
1. Income is offering the following:
i) a complimentary 6-month Carro Subscription Plan for a Tesla Model 3 (“Grand Prize”) to the applicant that has been issued with the highest number of complimentary SNACKUP Policies from Fave during the Promotion Period;
ii) a complimentary 6-months Carro Subscription Plan for a Kia Niro EV (“Second Prize”) to the applicant that has been issued with the second highest number of complimentary SNACKUP Policies from Fave during the Promotion Period;
iii) a complimentary 6-months Carro Subscription Plan for a MG EV ZS (“Third Prize”) to the applicant that has been issued with the third highest number of SNACKUP Policies from Fave during the Promotion Period; or
iv) any one of the following items, on a first come first serve basis, (“Sure-Win Gift”) to the applicant that has been issued with at least 6 SNACKUP Policies from Fave during the Promotion Period:
a. 25% Fave e-Cashback, capped at $10 for beauty and massage deals;
b. 5% Fave e-Cashback, capped at $5 for food and beverages;
c. $2 Fave e-Cashback, minimum $25 spending, for any items on the Fave online application or Fave website;
d. 1x $50 worth of ISETAN cash vouchers;
e. $8,888 Complimentary SNACK Accident Coverage under the SNACK App (Note: This is only applicable for winners that have been issued with an existing SNACK Accident Policy); or
f. $1,888 Complimentary SNACK Accident Coverage under the SNACK App (Note: This is only applicable for winners that have been issued with an existing SNACK Accident Policy).
collectively known as the “Prize”, subject to these Terms of Offer (“Buckle Up with Fave ‘n’ SNACK 2021 Campaign”).
2. The Promotion is valid from 5 April 2021 until 26 April 2021 (inclusive of both dates) (the “Promotion Period”).
3. All employees of Income, Fave and Carro are not eligible to win the Grand Prize, Second Prize or Third Prize under the Buckle Up with Fave ‘n’ SNACK 2021 Campaign.
4. You will be eligible to participate in the Buckle Up with Fave ‘n’ SNACK 2021 Campaign if:
i) You are Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident (PR);
ii) You are between 18 – 61 years old (inclusive of both years);
iii) You have signed up for an account or have an existing and valid SNACK account on the SNACK App
iv) You have successfully linked a lifestyle trigger to a SNACK Product via the SNACK App; and
v) You have successfully connected your Visa card via the SNACK App to start accumulating coverage with the selected trigger activity during the Promotion Period.
5. You will be eligible for the First Prize if:
i) You have been issued with a minimum of 12 SNACKUP Policies from Fave; and
ii) You have been issued with the highest number of the SNACKUP Policies from Fave.
6. You will be eligible for the Second Prize if:
i) You have been issued with a minimum of 12 SNACKUP Policies from Fave; and
ii) You have been issued with the second highest number of SNACKUP Policies from Fave.
7. You will be eligible for the Third Prize if:
i) You have successfully issued a minimum of 12 SNACKUP Policies from Fave;
ii) You have issued the third highest number of SNACKUP Policies from Fave.
8. You will be eligible for Sure-Win Gift if:
i) You have been issued with a minimum of 6 SNACKUP Policies from Fave.
9. Each eligible applicant shall only be entitled to receive one, First Prize, Second Prize, Third Prize or Sure-Win Gift under the Buckle Up with Fave ‘n’ SNACK 2021 Campaign, regardless of the number of successful purchases of goods/ services transactions from Fave.
10. Each winner of the Sure-Win Gift will be entitled to choose one Sure-Win Gift as listed on the SNACK App from 28 April to 6 May 2021 subject to this Terms of Offer.
11. The winner of the Sure-Win Gift shall redeem the Sure-Win Gift in accordance to the instructions provided to the winner by Income via a push notification on the SNACK App by 28 April 2021. The winner must redeem the Sure-Win Gift between 28 April 2021 to 6 May 2021 (inclusive of both dates) (the “Sure-Win Gift Redemption Period”). Failing which, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited his or her right to the Sure-Win Gift and no compensation will be given or paid in lieu.
12. The Sure-Win Gift winners will receive details on their chosen Sure-Win Gift by 21 May 2021.
13. The Grand Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize winner, by accepting the prize, consent to Income passing their personal contact information to Carro for the sole purpose of administering the prize redemption.
14. The winner of the Grand Prize, Second Prize or Third Prize shall redeem the prizes in accordance to the instructions provided via email sent to their registered email address on the SNACK App by 28 April 2021. The winner must complete all the tasks as instructed in the above email no later than 13 May 2021 to redeem the Grand Prize, Second Prize or Third Prize. Failing which, the winner shall be deemed to have forfeited his or her right to the prizes and no compensation will be given or paid in lieu. Only upon completion of all the above tasks as instructed in the email within the period set out above, the Grand Prize, Second Prize and Third Prize winners will receive their respective prizes as soon as practicable after Carro takes delivery of their car under the CARRO Subscription Plan.
15. Income reserves the right to replace the Prize with items of similar value (“Replacement Item”) at any time without prior notice.
16. This Terms of Offer do not affect or change any term of the policy contract issued to you. If there is any inconsistency between this Terms of Offer and any term of the policy contract, the term of the policy contract shall prevail.
17. Income’s decision in connection with the award of the Prize under the Buckle Up with Fave ‘n’ SNACK 2021 Campaign is final.
18. The Prize is not exchangeable for cash or any benefit in kind.
19. The Buckle Up with Fave ‘n’ SNACK 2021 Campaign is not valid in conjunction with other incentives and promotions offered by Income.
20. Income shall not be liable to any applicant or party, whether in contract or tort (including negligence) or otherwise, for any liabilities, losses and damages, claims, costs and expenses or for any special or consequential damages or losses in connection with, related to or resulting from the use of the Prize or the Replacement Item (if any) and any product and/or service offered by/through Fave.
21. Save and except the Complimentary SNACK Accident Coverage, Income is not the manufacturer or merchant of, the Prize or any Replacement Item, and the product and/or service offered by/through Fave, and provides no warranty in respect of it. Income shall not be responsible for all warranties, expressed or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, and fitness of a particular purpose and against infringement of intellectual property rights in respect of the Prize or any Replacement Item and the product and/or service offered by/ through Fave.
22. No joint venture, sponsorship, tie up, agency or any other relationship is intended or created between Income and the manufacturer or merchant in respect of the Prize or any Replacement Item and the product and/or service offered by/ through Fave. Neither is this promotion intended or deemed to be a connection with or use of the brand name of the Prize or any Replacement Item and the product and/or service offered by/ through Fave.
23. Income reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of the Buckle Up with Fave ‘n’ SNACK 2021 Campaign without any prior notice.
Important Notes:
- This material shall not constitute an advice of the suitability of the product. You should seek independent advice from a qualified advisor where in doubt. Buying insurance products that are not suitable for you may impact your ability to finance your future insurance needs.
- The relevant policy contracts shall be made available to the applicant via the SNACK App.
- Protected up to specified limits by SDIC.
