This complimentary telemedicine consultation (“Service”) is a service to avail medical advice from a familiar source to selected insured persons while they travel overseas during this trip. The Service and benefits are not part of any obligation of Income Insurance Limited (“Income Insurance”) under any insurance policy. There is no charge for medical advice from using the Service, but you must pay for any overseas data and roaming charges that may apply based on your network provider. Coverage of any medications purchased as recommended through the Service shall be assessed as that being asked for by a medical practitioner under the Travel Insurance policy.
The Service is provided by Income Insurance’s appointed emergency assistance provider who is responsible for the Service to you. Income Insurance shall not be responsible nor liable to you or any party in connection with the Service. Income Insurance may from time to time change the service provider or discontinue this service without prior notice. Income Insurance is not responsible for the consequences as a result of or in connection with the Service, including any delay in the provision of the Service.
This Service shall not be used to make a medical diagnosis or to replace or overrule a qualified health care provider’s judgement. This service is not intended to be a substitution for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always consult with a qualified and licensed physician or other medical care provider for a medical diagnosis to ascertain your condition and possible treatment.
