What it covers

Accidental death and permanent disability

We cover you in the event of death or permanent disability due to an accident.

Medical expenses

We cover you for outpatient and hospitalisation expenses due to an accident. We pay up to $100[1] for each day of hospitalisation due to accident, up to a maximum of 60 days for each accident.

Recovering at home

We cover the cost to modify your home to cater for easy mobility and provide training[2] for the caregiver. We also cover you for home modifications to cater for easy mobility, and the training cost for one caregiver.

No medical check-up is required to sign up for SilverCare Insurance.

The plan is renewable yearly for life[3] if you sign up between the age of 50 and 75 years old. No medical check-up is required for renewal.

Before you apply

You must:

  • Be holding a valid Singapore identification document (NRIC, Employment pass, work permit or Long Term Visit pass)
  • Be living or working in Singapore, or living outside Singapore for no more than 180 days at any one time
  • Be between 50 and 75 years of age


You can make your premium payments yearly.

You can choose from three different plan types.

Premium rates are inclusive of 7% GST, non-guaranteed and may be reviewed from time to time.

Important Notes


  1. This benefit limit is applicable under Plan 3.
  2. This plan will pay for the training of one caregiver and the training will be conducted by our appointed provider.
  3. Your (or your parents’) policy will be renewed as long as:
    - the eligibility requirements are met
    - claims have not reached the lifetime limit allowed for the respective plans
    - the full sum insured under the final expenses or permanent disability benefits have not been claimed.



There are certain conditions whereby the benefits under this plan will not be payable. You can refer to your policy contract for the precise terms, conditions and exclusions of the plan. The policy contract will be issued when your application is accepted.
