Here’s how Group Hospital and Surgical Insurance protects your employees.

Eligible hospital and surgical expenses[1] will be covered up to the specified limits of your chosen plan under Inpatient Care benefit.
Mix and match the coverage to suit your employees’ needs with the option of adding coverage for outpatient primary and specialist expenses.
Your employees can make unlimited visits to our island-wide panel GP clinics. Emergency visits to the Singapore hospital A&E department are also covered.
Visits to our panel specialists are covered on a cashless basis (a referral letter from our panel registered medical practitioner is required). These include specialised investigations such as Barium studies and CT and MRI scans.

Who can purchase Group Hospital & Surgical Insurance?

Companies or associations can purchase Group Hospital & Surgical Insurance for their employees or members to take care of their inpatient and outpatient medical needs.

Who can be insured?

You can insure all your full-time employees or members of your association and their dependants. In the case of insuring your employees, they need to be on the payroll of a Singapore registered company.

Should coverage be on a compulsory basis?

Yes, the cover should be compulsory for all employees within the same job category (e.g. All Executives) or members (e.g. All Committee Members) under the same category. If the policy is extended to cover dependants, all eligible dependants of employees within the same job category or members under the same category should be covered.

What is the period of insurance?

The period of insurance is one year from the date of commencement or as stated in the policy contract.
